The Snow - School Tours

School tours and School ski trips to the Snow - Attractions

There are various school activities to be undertaken when in the Snowy Mountains. These range from general snow play, tobogganing, ski tubing, skiing and snow boarding - all of which can be organised by the Unearth-ed Snow School Tours team. The Snowy Hydro Scheme is located in Cooma and provides a hands-on experience regarding this elaborate system. Students can learn about engineering, water conservation etc.

Enquire NowThere are three predominant ski fields available for students to participate in snow activity. These include:

Perisher Blue

While Perisher Blue is a really large resort, moving from point to point on a Perisher school trip is quite easy. Skitube between Perisher Blue and Blue Cow Mountain is free with a valid mountain pass and runs regularly between the two resort areas. A free shuttle bus circuits between Perisher Valley and Smiggins Holes from 7.30am and 6pm daily and runs till 11pm on Tuesday and Saturday for night skiing and boarding. All four mountain bases are interlinked by Green runs so even new skiers and boarders are able to move between them quite easily. Perisher Blue's network of chairlifts is supported by surface lifts as well. So on windy days when the chairlifts might be on hold, you can still rely on T bars to move you around. Always carry a trail map when riding the slopes.
